Some times it takes a wild card to come in and shake up the status quo! Print Zoom is not all that wild! In speaking with the Chief Geek, the goal is to bring top notch service, better pricing and quick turn around to Yuma, who has traditionally had to pay higher prices locally or wait a while for the online orders to come in, and if there is problem online, the customer service leaves a little to be desired.

RGB Vs. CMYK
Understanding the difference between Red, Green & Blue (RGB), which is primarily for web design and Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black (CMYK) helps clarify expectations on design to output.
Print Resolution
Knowing a file is vector based or 300 dpi (dots per inch) minimizes the chance that the final product will pixelate.
Bleed
When color runs off the edge of the paper, that is called bleed. It is important that there is safety and bleed gutters to avoid any important information being cut off on projects that have bleed.
Paper Options
A variety of paper options and finishing are important so that the customer can get exactly what they desire in a finished printed product!
About Print Zoom
Print Zoom was founded in 2015 in the same location that hosted it’s sister company, Imaginary Friends design studios. It was becoming increasingly necessary for Imaginary Friends to get better pricing and faster turn around for their clients.
It started off with a digital press and a cutter, then a vinyl plotter and cutter, next a folder was added, and a perforater. Then a machine just to cut business cards, because those can be quite tricky. Then a bigger folder was added to the mix in addition to a more proficient crease and perforater. Next a larger cutter was acquired, keeping the original one as a back up… just in case. Next, in a flurry of moves, the color digital press was upgraded, a black & white digital press was added to the mix, a flood UV coater was installed, a first for Yuma, and a large 4 Color Press was setup. This was the first working 4 Color Press in Yuma in almost a decade, made for large print jobs, so they can be done quickly and efficiently.

Printing can be complicated, there are so many options. It is Print Zoom’s Mission to help educate their customers on all the options that are available and break them down so that the customer has the best possible item at the price that makes most sense. Changing Yuma for the better one print or copy job at a time.
